Also, my gown has a beaded bust would the traditional work or do I need to get the celebrity line? Response: The size of the gown does not matter and either kit (Traditional Line or Celebrity Line) will work for your beaded bust gown. Question of the day – Do you have a wedding gown clean only service?Published 25 August, 2009Question: I am planning on letting my sister wear my wedding dress and I need to have it cleaned. Your wedding gown will have to be returned to an address in the lower 48 as well. Question of the day – Could you please tell me if there is any significant difference between the boxes used for storage in your Traditional and Celebrity line packages?Published 20 August, 2009Question: Could you please tell me if there is any significant difference between the boxes used for storage in your Traditional and Celebrity line packages? Is it simply color or is one box type sturdier than the other? Response: The only difference in the boxes is the color. The Celebrity line has more insurance ($1500 vs $500) and museum quality muslin wrap instead of acid free tissue on the Traditional line. Question of the day – Preserving a 31 year old wedding dress costPublished 14 August, 2009Question: My wedding dress is 31 years old and was preserved after my wedding, but then it was opened years ago and just put back in the box. I want to have it preserved and restored, but am unsure how much that would cost. If I buy the preservation and send it in then I am not able to pay what they want for any repairs, then what do I do? I would appreciate your help with this. Thank you. Response: In order to determine whether the yellowing and/or any stains that have appeared over time could be removed, it would be necessary to evaluate the wedding gown directly, especially considering the age of the gown, as not all older wedding gowns require restoration. It really depends on how the fabric has aged. Some wedding dresses of that age require full restoration to bring them back to their original color and beauty. What we would recommend is ordering the Traditional Line Kit online for $149. You will receive everything you need to send in your wedding gown, including a shipping box and prepaid shipping labels. When you send in your wedding gown, please note on the form you’ll receive to send in with your wedding dress that you would like a quote for restoration if necessary. When the wedding gown is received it will be carefully evaluated. If your wedding dress can be cleaned without restoration there would be no additional charge. If it needs restoration they will call you directly and let you know. The total restoration cost would depend upon the specific care the gown needed and would be determined after the evaluation. We will not proceed without your approval. In the rare event it is determined that your gown cannot be cleaned and preserved for some reason, you will receive a full refund. 5 Star Review on Affordable Preservation CompanyPublished 13 August, 2009Question of the day – Is your wedding gown preservation service available nationwide?Published 12 August, 2009Question: Is your wedding gown preservation service available nationwide?
