Our pricing is the same every day for every customer. Free insured shipping every step, 5 complimentary accessories, the 100-year guarantee, and the same base price per service for nearly every dress — these aren’t promotional add-ons. They’re included in every order, year-round.
The Truth About Discount Codes
Discount-code marketing creates short-term urgency — dressing up standard inclusions as “limited offers.” It erodes trust the moment a buyer realizes the “exclusive” was always available. You deserve to know what’s included from the start, rather than be ‘tricked’ into thinking you’re getting a special offer.
If you see other wedding dress preservation companies promoting “free shipping” or “5 free accessories” as a limited-time or exclusive offer, those aren’t truly special deals — they’re typically standard inclusions that come with every order. We’re proud to include them with every order, every day. The difference is we don’t pretend they’re something you might miss out on if you don’t place your order with us right away.

One Price Per Service for Nearly Every Dress
One price per service, the same for virtually every dress regardless of style or fabric. Most petite sheaths and full ball gowns cost exactly the same — no upsells for delicate fabrics, no surprise “evaluation” fees. Minor repairs are included free. A $100 surcharge may apply for unusually large, heavy, or extremely soiled dresses; if this applies to your dress, you’ll be contacted before any work begins.
The same base price per service for nearly every dress.
Museum-Quality Cleaning
Your dress is cleaned with the same museum-quality process trusted by museum textile conservators — gently lifting visible and invisible stains, including the perspiration, champagne, and cake frosting that cause yellowing over time.
The heart of every order
Acid-Free Preservation Chest
Your dress returns in an acid-free preservation chest with a UV-protective viewing window — the same archival-grade materials museums use to protect historic textiles, sized to your dress.
White gloss or silver-tone finish
How Our Pricing Works
We’re an Elite Authorized Retailer for The Wedding Gown Preservation Company — the largest wedding-dress specialty cleaner in the United States, and the operation that actually cleans and preserves your dress. They don’t sell directly to the public, so authorized retailers like us handle that relationship for you. Our pricing is set at the lowest price they allow authorized retailers to charge, and we’ve held that floor since day one.
There’s no version of our service you can buy cheaper from another authorized retailer — you’ll only find it priced the same or higher, sometimes far higher, through local bridal shops and dry cleaners. Reputation and experience should be your deciding factors — that’s where we rise to the top every time. We were Wedding Gown Preservation Company’s first online authorized retailer, and in that time we’ve earned 475+ verified 5-star reviews across The Knot, WeddingWire, and Google. See why thousands of brides chose us, and why you should too.
The Same Facility — Without the Local Markup
Most local cleaners and bridal shops don’t preserve dresses in-house. They send your dress to a national facility — often the very one we use — and add a markup for the drop-off convenience. Order direct through us and you skip that markup, at the lowest price an authorized retailer is allowed to charge.
| Service | Our Posted Price |
|---|---|
| Traditional Preservation | $360 |
| Celebrity Preservation | $435 |
| Wedding Dress Cleaning Only | $260 |
Ask any local shop two questions: do they preserve in-house, and what do they charge? Most send it out — often to the same facility — for more than you’d pay us direct.
When to Preserve
As soon as you can after the wedding — the sooner, the better. The earlier your dress is professionally cleaned and preserved, the easier it is to remove both visible and invisible stains (perspiration, champagne, sugar from cake icing, body oils) before they oxidize into permanent yellow and brown patches. Acting early gives us the best chance to return your dress to its pristine condition.
That said, it’s never too late. If your dress has been in a closet for years, our Wedding Dress Restoration service is designed for older dresses (20+ years) and applies all the same built-in inclusions: free insured shipping, cleaning of up to 5 accessories, free minor repairs, and the 100-year guarantee.
Rated 5 out of 5 starsI am so happy that I took a leap of faith and went with the Affordable Preservation Company. At first I was so scared and hesitant to mail my dress off to be preserved. My dress had dirt stains and so did my heels since I had an outdoor wedding. I was shocked to see how great they looked. My shoes looked like new. They were very detailed from start to finish and the process was so easy. They kept me up to date every step of the way with tracking information, and that was very helpful. You definitely get such a great value for your money — they were less than half the price of some local preservation companies I had visited. Definitely recommend this company to all brides!
Pricing Questions
Do you offer discount codes, coupons, or sales?
No — we don’t run discount codes, coupons, or flash sales. Our pricing is the same transparent price for every customer, every day. Everything other companies dress up as a “limited offer” is already included in every order: free insured shipping every step, 5 complimentary wedding accessories, museum-quality cleaning, an acid-free preservation chest, and a written 100-year guarantee. If you see other wedding dress preservation companies promoting “free shipping” or “free accessories” as a limited-time or exclusive offer, those are typically standard inclusions, inaccurately framed as something special — the code doesn’t actually unlock anything that isn’t already included.
Why is your pricing so much less than other companies?
Wedding Gown Preservation Co. has been exclusively cleaning and preserving wedding dresses since 1913 — it’s all they do, every day. That singular focus, combined with over a century of refinement and the volume of dresses their expert technicians care for, allows for advanced cleaning techniques and efficiencies that smaller operations simply can’t match. As their longest-standing online authorized retailer, we pass those savings directly to you — same museum-quality cleaning, same preservation chest, same 100-year guarantee, at a fraction of what boutique alternatives charge.
When should I order my wedding dress preservation?
The ideal window is within about three months of your wedding — the longer visible stains like red wine, mud, soiled hemlines, and makeup remain on the fabric, the harder they become to remove. Many dresses are still treatable at six to twelve months, but sooner is always better. If life got busy and it’s been longer, most dresses can still be cleaned and preserved, and dresses 20 years or older can often be significantly restored. In the meantime, if your dress is still in the white plastic garment bag from your bridal shop, it’s worth knowing that plastic can off-gas over time and cause yellowing on its own — yet another reason to have your dress cleaned and preserved as soon as possible. Many brides choose to order before the wedding, so the kit is ready to ship the moment the big day is over.
